Hum it or draw it
You'll hum the tune and the app will write down the notes. Or you'll drag notes onto a simple grid with your finger or the mouse.
Coming soon
Most people with a melody in their head can't arrange it. Hum a tune is being built to take you from a hum to a real a cappella recording.
Hum a tune comes after the song builder. Until then, the creator can harmonise a tune you sing.
You'll hum the tune and the app will write down the notes. Or you'll drag notes onto a simple grid with your finger or the mouse.
Stackapella will write an alto, tenor and bass under your tune, and play all four with guide voices straight away.
You'll share it as an idea, with every part open. Anyone will be able to sing a part, and when someone does, we'll email you, at most once a day for each idea, with a setting to turn it off. You'll be credited as the writer, and each singer for their part. Sharing an idea, and singing one, will be free.
The creator already turns a tune you sing into four parts: sing your melody line by line, and let it suggest the rest.
Until Hum a tune opens, sing your melody line by line in the creator.
