Why we built it for coaches

We don't think an app is a good replacement for a vocal coach. The app shows singers which notes landed; only a person can hear everything and guide them. So Stackapella is built for singers to work with you directly in it, once coaching opens.

A workspace made for voices

You'll hear the take with the singer's notes and pitch line, and answer with comments pinned to moments, voice notes and a demonstration. The app's own scores will be there as a guide only.

How you'll be paid

Singers will pay in the app, and Stripe will pay you out. Stackapella will keep 15% of each sale, and active coaches will get Plus free.

Coaching opens soon. If you'd like to be among the first coaches, write to [email protected] and tell us about your experience. Coaches will be 18 and over. When coaching opens, singers will reach you through your own profile link, and a directory comes later.

  • Practice at home, with honest feedbackSingers learn their part a phrase at a time, and see how close they are as they sing, note by note.
  • Choir groupsWith Plus, share songs with your choir, give each singer a part, and see who has started and who has recorded it. You never see their recordings or contact details. For singers 18 and over.
  • Record and stackRecord each part over the others, exactly in time, then mix and export: WAV for free, MP3 and each part on its own with Plus.
  • Your own arrangementsWrite a harmony in the song builder, or start from a copy of one of ours, and share it for your singers to learn.
  • The course as homeworkShort lessons from a first note to holding a part on your own. Units 1 to 7 are free.
